External Sixth Form Applicants

External applicants who have already enquired will be contacted by the IT department with a new enrolment method enabling them to fill out the options form. The deadline for all external applicants has been extended until the 24th February 2012.

Changes to the Proposed Move Date into the New Building

The move out of the temporary accommodation into the new block will now take place at the end of May. The school will be closed on May 31st and June 1st for non examination students to allow the move to start. It will be completed during the half term and students will start back in the new block on June 11th for both teaching and exams.

Year 11 Parents' Evening

The year 11 parents' evening is being held on the 26th January 2012 between 4.30pm and 7pm. Please use the online booking system to make appointments with your son or daughter's teachers, using the details you have received.

Year 9 options information

Nobel School Key dates for Nobel Families   2011-2012

Following discussions surrounding the published County term dates for 2011-2012, we have agreed the following dates for Nobel:

Friday 2nd September 2011 - This will be a CPD day but disaggregated into 3 twilights that will be delivered to Faculties.  Staff and students will not be in school.

Monday 5th September 2011 - CPD day:  staff in school.

Tuesday 6th September 2011 - Staggered start for year 7 and years 12/13 only.

Tuesday 3rd January 2012 - CPD day: Staff in school

Friday 30th March  2012 - CPD day: staff in school

Monday 16th April 2012 - CPD day: staff in school

Monday 23rd July  2012 - Occasional day  Staff and Students will not be in school.

These days minimise the disruption to families and staff  by giving whole weeks at the beginning and ends of holidays.
